Launching an AI Product in Thailand: What Thai Law Applies
Published 6 Oct 2026
An AI product can gain Thai users overnight, and Thai law follows them. The PDPA applies once you offer the service to, or monitor, people in Thailand, wherever you are based. Virtual assistants appear in ETDA's platform categories, and ownership of your models and code follows the Copyright Act's employee and contractor rules.
